i just set up the DVR immediately after you told me this!
pad it. As you can prob know, most WEC shows go passed their aloted time. its supposed to be 9-11:30 but since there are 2 5 round fights, if both go the distance, it will prob end before midnight
main event is apparently insane per reading twitter comments from mma announcers/fighters watching on twitter (jordan breen from sherdog, mauro Ranalo, Kevin L from yahoo ect)
Georges St-Pierre vs. Jake Shields on April 30 at largest UFC venue ever
Ultimate Fighting Championship owner Lorenzo Fertitta confirmed reports Tuesday that welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre of Canada will defend his belt April 30 against Jake Shields at Toronto's Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Blue Jays and the largest venue yet for a UFC card.
"We could get 50,000 [people], we're still working on it," Fertitta said.
The card will also include a battle of former light-heavyweight champions, Lyoto Machida versus Randy Couture.
St-Pierre dominated Josh Koscheck in December en route to a unanimous decision in Canada. Shields, a former champion for rival fighting organization Strikeforce, won a narrow decision over Martin Kampmann in October in Anaheim.
