liturgy didnt start to suck because hipster fan base tho, they started sucking because they're made up of a bunch of entitled art school hipsters. Deafheaven may look the part, but they all grew up punk and/or metal kids. Their guitarist, Kerry McCoy, actively talks shit on how lame SF has become as a city, which is pretty much him talking shit on hipsters. Even tho a good amount of their fa base is lames, I don't think that has anything to do with how their music will turn out.
