Richmond, Virginia's INTER ARMA has entered Dark Art Studios in Madison, Tennessee with producer Mikey Allred to record a "massive" track, to be released via Relapse Records.
"There's no title yet, but it's a forty-plus minute piece that was originally written during the summer of 2009 and only played out a few times," states INTER ARMA guitarist Trey Dalton. "We'll have some different people doing guest appearances (noise, synth, strings, vox, and more) as well. We're trying to make the most completely off-the-wall shit yet."
Chicago, IL band Weekend Nachos has completed work on their forthcoming album, Still. The effort will hit stores on November 8th via Relapse Records (vinyl through Deep Six Records).

San Francisco's Wooden Shjips (who share a member with Moon Duo) have been making solid, tripped-out neo-psychedelia for years now, and they're set to release their fourth studio album, Back To Land, on November 12 via Thrill Jockey. Check out the album trailer, album artwork, and tracklist, below.
Wooden Shjips will also be supporting the new record on a short tour which hits NYC on November 13 at Mercury Lounge and November 14 at Knitting Factory. Both of those shows, and most of the tour, are with the similarly spacey Cave (who have a new album on the way via Drag City). Tickets for both NYC shows go on sale Friday, 9/6 (Merc at noon, Knit at 10 AM). The Merc show is also on AmEx presale now.
