It probably doesn't since they've pretty much done the same thing for 30 years. I just think they might be lazy or take their time on the album Don't get me wrong, they're a great band, but they take awhile to come out with albums

Yeah, but they often have really really long album cycles, and their consistent touring schedule I bet has them touring until 2011 or 2012, then they could sit down and make a new one.

i read it in a Metal Hammer magazine, and i cant find a online article , but even if i never read the article, i know Tom Araya is calling it quciks probably before 2012, and ther they want one more album out before they retire, i think its also on their current contract that they have to have to come out with another album.
STP, Goo Goo Dolls, Godsmack, and As I Lay Dying all have upcoming albums done without release dates confirmed. In addition, I'm looking for new albums from Symphony X, Cormorant, Testament, Children of Bodom, and The Sword.
