My dog...

I know someone posted a thread about their dog and I just thought I'd dothe same...my parents just told me that my dog has tumors in her stomach and other places and they've moved into her lungs. The doctors gave us medicine to give her that will prolong her life to just a fee short months....if she didn't have the medicine she woul die in days or weeks...this feels terrible...I've had her for 12 years since I was 6....I just can't believe she won't be with us much longer

Aww damn that's sad man. It's gonna be a sad day when my Snakes die. Luckily, they live 20-40 years, and my oldest one is only 6.

My Dog is 10 now. I hope he lives to 17 like Candy did. It was so sad when she died. Me and my Mom buried her in the backyard.

It's always sad news to hear of a pet dying. My dog is 5 now (got him when he was 2), I know I'd be sad if something happened to him. Hopefully she can recover and live a few more years, you never know. Just keep on looking up.

You know, animal death bothers me way more then Human death. I've never cried from any of the personal deaths in my life, even my Grandma, although I was very depressed. However, I bawled like a bitch, when Candy and Rusty (Dogs) died. And the time my first Snake died a few yeas back. And especially when my Cockatiel, Pepper, died in my hands.

once we notice she's in pain we'll have to put her down

I had to put down my dog, George, 2 years ago when I was 20.I had him since I was in the 2nd grade. He was very old and had a large stomach tumor. He had also gone both blind and deaf. He was so miserable. When we took him to the vet to have him put to sleep, he knew where he was. He was scared to death because he hated going to the vet. He was shaking and whining, that made it so much harder to let go. I was in tears before we even walked in the door. Losing a pet is like losing a part of the family..very rough. Sorry about your dog man, that really sucks.
