well then i guess im not as musically in tuned as you are because i def. feel a hightened state of awareness(for lack of a better word) when ive been drinking and loose and not thinkin to much. i simply can just focus on the music instead of the person next to me smells or is bumping me and now im pissed etc...

I don't tolerate drunks at shows. That was made very evident at mayhem this year. People act stupid when they drink and it's pathetic to say well I drink to socialize or I drink to have a good time. I'm sorry that I'm not such a boring person that I can socialize and have fun without drinking.

Agreed. I did the mistake of doing too much shit before/during Ozzfest 2003....only remember a few bands. And the only band I remember fully was Cradle of Filth. I layed on the lawn most of the time afterwards. Never again.

I drank at ONE show, Ozzfest 2006. I do not remember System of a Down or Ozzy that well and I completely regret that.

i don't go to nearly as many parties any more...but when i do its not with the same group of people i hung out with in high school and just after high school...i have a group of rich friends that have a lot of gatherings i attend i feel safe there lol.....but with the people in high school we had a friend shot and killed 3 years ago and other fucked up shit.....the people i hang out with not are all about fun and there is really no drama

i drink b4 a show get a good buzz then usually drink a few beers at the show to put me to drunk...and then chill with the drunk so that i can still remember everything...iv gotten a lot better and not crossing that line

i dont like to not remember bands at all at shows, that kinda sux... but when im drunk and you hear that first riff blaring, its the best feelin in the world

well i respect strong minded people but just because you like to drink to let off steam doesnt mean your a pathetic person. i hold a job, i have a strong work ethic, i am a good friend, Ive never been arrested and all that. each person enjoys things differently, does mean one is pathetic and one isnt

To be honest I'm quite the opposite I'm a bit of a nerd with stupid humor on top of bad ADHD. I just do not like being wasted or getting high or being around people when they are.
