Currently playing QB's that I think are better then Tom Brady (not necessarily in order but close) 1. Peyton Manning 2. Michael Vick. 3. Aaron Rogers 4. Tony Romo 5. Drew Brees
wake...i nubz your opinions on this board and they way you put your input on things here....but man what da fukk is wrong with you?
While it pretty much is Ortons fault we lost the game, our defense looked awful. That big run we allowed after the fumble as well as not being able to force a 4th down at the end of the game were key mistakes.

Yo Wake, how has that Steve Smith vs Ochocinco thing been working out?
I started Santana Holmes instead of ocho... however yeah the steve smith on the bench really hurt. Plus my kicker getting zero points and being done for the season, plus picking the wrong def (SD over chicago), gave me my first loss. It is almost funny... in both of my leagues the league average was like 50-60 points. I had 140 points and the second highest score by a long way. The highest weekly point total was 144 which happened to be the guy I played. lol.
I bet you're not laughing at the guys who picked Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady 1 and 2 now. If I were to do my draft over again I would go for QB first. Fuck RB's. Every league just assumes that u are supposed to pick RB's first, but they are becoming less and less important. They get less touches, more RB by committee and the league is absolutely a passing league now. Every rule change that is made is to help the passing game in the NFL.

Couple questions.... I steve smith an every week must starter now? So my starting WR's are Calvin Johnson, deSean Jackson, steve smith (car)? With Santanio Holmes and Ocho on the bench...
Second question - Week 9 is bad for me for byes. I am either going to be short a WR or short a RB. I might drop a TE (Vernon davis or Dustin Keller, or one of my two def), but right now I could drop Ocho for Cedric Benson. thoughts?
my RB's right now are Adrian Peterson, Frank Gore, and Jahvid Best.

No... I wanted Vick #1 so that is what I was so excited about getting him in the second round. I feel at the end of the season Vick will be the #1 fantasy QB. Yeah he had a "nothing spectacular" day, however he still threw up mad fantasy points for me. 100 yards on the ground, 200 pass yards 2TD's? I'll take that for a game one. That only reaffirms my belief in fantasy value for vick. Brady isnt going to throw for 500 yards again this season,

I had Smith on my bench as well. He was completely useless last year and I wound up dropping him halfway through the season. I don't really know what to do with the guy now because he won't pick up those kind of numbers every week, that's for sure.

That was wake actually. He is just a "system" qb.
After watching last nights game, I feel that I might be a little unjustly hard on Brady. He looked fantastic last night. When he was in that hurry up offense (before the 99 yard pass), that was all his game. his management of the field was outstanding, and the coaching just looked like they were sitting back watching him go crazy. Brady looked fantastic.

I was the same with him last year.... dropped half way through when I realized car sucks awful. However now they get a QB his might actually be worth something and their star WR goes insane...
I dont think I will be able to bench him next week after this weeks performance.

Drop ocho get benson
damnit... i feel like that is a mistake. I was so high on ocho-brady before last night, and ocho was no where to be seen. I feel like that was a 1 week fluke, and I dont want to drop the dude and have him go off =\

someone just dropped reggie bush for jordy nelson! shit. so I could pick up Benson, Bush, and drop ocho, or SD, or chicago, or jahvid best. oh i dont know... second guessing everyhting already. not good.
WakeOfAshesPosts: 21,665destroyer of motherfuckers
Did you not watch the game last night? Bush was the most active participant of Miami's offense (besides the QB). his 11 carries didnt amount to much (as expected), but his block, catch, run gave him 60 yars and a TD. That TD was awesome too.... Idk... I'm 50/50 on Bush being better then Marshall
anyways... I am going keep Ocho on my bench. I'd rather have Benson, however there are no decent WR FA available other then week-to-week matchups, or injury replacements. on RB FA, there is Benson, Bush, Fred Jackson... basically a lot of people to fill in when I need one.

It was unfortunate that SF paid Gore... I'd rather him play on a contract year, instead of getting his pockets padded and his incentive to play diminished.
I'm not sure about the Jordy Nelson thing. He is still like the 4th or 5th option in that passing game. He'll get a few yards on returns, but I don't see the need to pick him up unless your team has zero receivers.
