You get up to my points then you can say fail.
It's already a fail that you have that many points.

Lewis vs Ocho, that would be awesome, I rarely watch wrestling, but I would watch that pay per view.... for free on the internet of course.

The ladies love Troy Polamalu's jersey
    By MJD

The best-selling women's jersey is that of Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu, according to sales figures from NFLShop.com.

What makes Polamalu so popular among lady viewers? His sensitive and kind disposition? His unisex hairstyle? The fact that women can easily preview what their jersey will look like with long hair covering up the name?

Probably none of the above, actually. Polamalu is just as popular among men, as he has the best-selling jersey in that demographic, too. The Steelers are a popular team nationwide, and Polamalu's one of the faces of the franchise.

It probably also helps his jersey sales that the other face of the franchise, Ben Roethlisberger(notes), has done some things that might make a public showing of support for Roethlisberger a little less palatable. He doesn't rank in the top 25 for either gender.

If you're wondering about guys more popular among women than among men, a guy Polamalu will be facing in the Super Bowl tops that list. Aaron Rodgers(notes) is fourth on the women's list and seventh on the men's. Dallas Cowboys also see a rise in popularity among the fairer sex: Tony Romo(notes), Jason Witten(notes) and the very handsome Miles Austin(notes) are all higher on the women's list than the men's.

More popular among men than women is Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick(notes). He's sixth on the men's list and 14th on the women's.

    Late but Idgaf.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- In a surprising move, the Tennessee Titans have parted ways with Jeff Fisher, who just completed his 16th full season as the NFL's longest-tenured coach.

The team said in a release Thursday night that "Fisher will no longer be the head coach of the team." The Titans announced the move within an hour of a report by SI.com that they were negotiating Fisher's departure.

A source told ESPN's John Clayton that one of the final disagreements that led to Fisher's departure involved his son, Brandon. Jeff Fisher wanted to have his son on the staff as a quality control coach and thought that was going to be approved. Brandon Fisher helped out during the season while offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger was receiving cancer treatment.

For several years, Adams has stressed he didn't want family hired on the Titans coaching staff and he apparently stuck by those principles this week in conversations with Fisher.

Heimerdinger has recovered from his bout with cancer and would be willing to be a candidate to replace Fisher, a source said.

A team release said the search for a new coach would begin Friday.

  • HOODSHOODS Posts: 41,866 destroyer of motherfuckers
Eagles fired their D coordinator, they haven't filled the postion yet, Reid and Fisher used to work together on the Packers SB winning teams... :-?
  • Chicken_FuckerChicken_Fucker Posts: 15,691 destroyer of motherfuckers
Fisher coached with the pack? oh btw he played for the Bears. and you pluralized "teams", don't you mean team?
  • HOODSHOODS Posts: 41,866 destroyer of motherfuckers
nm, i thought he was on the packers team with andy reid, cause they've been talkin all week on philly sports tv that he has ties to philly. he was actually the Eagles Dbacks coach and D coordinator in the 80's early 90's! that would be a win pickup if they could sign him to coach.

why do want them to can Lovie, he just took yooz to the NFC champ game?
  • Chicken_FuckerChicken_Fucker Posts: 15,691 destroyer of motherfuckers
Yeah I know, but I actually thought he should have been canned when he took them to the Super Bowl in 06'. He is just a shit coach. I guess they got pretty far this year, but it was more in spite of him, then because of him. Plus you could easily blame the NFC championship loss on him. 1) Passing on a 48 yard field goal try in the first half only to have the punter punt it into the end zone 2)Having Todd Collins as #2 on the depth chart when he clearly had no right being in the NFL 3)Calling a time out to nullify a 1st down on the final drive 4)Calling a reverse on a 3rd and 2 on the last drive (probably Martz but i blame Lovie)

I hear you man, I'm constantly screaming for them to shit can Reid every year, especially cause he rufuses to run the ball, but when they're winning I want them to build a statue of Reid right outside the stadium. Philly could do alot worse then Reid and right after a playoff loss it's hard to see that, but after a few weeks I realize it wasn't just Reid that lost us the game.

same goes for the bears too. Lovie took yooz to the SB and an NFC champ agme in less then 5 years. noone thought the bears were gonna do shit this year and they showed up. theres worse out there then smith.

I know if they fired lovie there would be 10 teams that would love to have him, but I am tired of him, so they can have him.
