To show you how ridiculous what you're saying is, take any 1 of the current best players, LeBron, KD, Kobe, CP3, D. Rose, Stephen Curry, whoever, or to put in the undeniable GOAT, prime MJ, and put them on the current Bobcats team. Bobcats are suddenly a title contender, right? No. MAYBE an 8 seed, and that's an extremely strong maybe. Basketball is always 5 on 5, 1 on 5 never works, even if your 1 is better than their collective 5.

Football's the best sport because there's a lot more depth of strategy and technique than there is in basketball, baseball or any other sport, really. One thing that I've found myself liking about basketball though is that it requires versatility. You can shoot, but you probably aren't seeing the floor all the time if you can't defend for shit, either.
Josh Cribbs said the Lions are high on the list of teams he'd like to sign with. I wonder if they'll get him.
Haven't they already gone above cap?
I think they're still under, but not by much. If they ever get Stafford's extension done that will lower his cap hit for this year and free up some room.
Edit: They were 6.7 Mil under the cap going into the draft.
Stafford probably isn't getting extended before the season starts...I'd rather they not sign cribbs...idk I guess it would be a good pickup I just think Corey fuller can do everything cribbs could do for us

Is it bad that I don't think Stafford's really deserved an extension yet? I can't believe how poorly they've handled his talent and plan on investing even further in him. I lost a lot of trust in the Schwartz regime because of how they've handled Stafford.

They would be taking a much bigger risk letting him go than giving him an extension. Not sure how you can say they've handled him poorly and then turn around and say he doesn't deserve an extension. Which one is it? He's obviously pretty good.

Even Marc said it.
