I'm actually really looking forward to this superbowl. Both teams are pretty evenly matched. I'll be rooting for SF, however I don't really care who wins.

Would you rather lose the NFC Championship game or lose the superbowl? I would rather lose the NFC Title game. I lost the superbowl to the Ravens and that stung really really bad. BTW Ravens/Giants Superbowl was a boring game. Not because we lost just because the game really sucked.

It was definitely the turning point but it wasn't a dirty hit.

I'm already pretty much over it. Sure I won't be going out of my way to watch sports center or anything but it does no good to dwell and stress on something you can't change.

what are your thoughts on Pollard and his hit on Ridley? I think this was the turning point of the game. The fumble set up the short field for the Ravens, they got a touch down, and the Pats never recovered. Also, Pollards history of injuring players.....
I think it was a very rough hit but I don't think he'll be fined for it. Im not a fan of Pollard only because every time he does play the Pats someone does get injured from him. The Pats D was pretty good the first half but didn't show up for the 2nd half. And their offense never really got in sync. So I was worried even before that fumble because they were just not producing.

Im glad Baltimore won, however I really hate hits like that where the team not only loses a major player but turns over the ball for a sure-thing TD. I mean losing the dude is bad enough. I wanted Baltimore to win, however not like that.

Clean hit. How would you want them to win? A win is a win

should be a rule that a ball cannot be turned over if the player carrying the ball is knocked out. play should have been dead as soon as Ridley hit the ground.

Im not saying it wasnt a clean hit. But when a dude is hit so hard that he is knocked out while on his feet. and due to being unconscious can't hang onto the ball when it hits his leg that is completely on the ground, and the other team recovers for an easy TD.... I just dont like turnovers like that.

I like turn overs when like the RB or WR or QB is an idiot and just can't hang onto the ball. Or when the defense does an amazing job stripping the ball. Or picks anyways they happen are great.

But turnovers like this one leave a bad taste in my mouth. Baltimore would have won even if they didnt have this gimmie TD.

I'd actually be proud as hell if I was a Falcons fan. They went further than anybody thought they would. Sure they blew a big lead and blew a big last week also and got lucky they didnt get knocked out, but I'd be happier if the Bears made the damn playoffs and got beat in the championship game then not at all.

Oh and Patriots fans are spoiled as hell.

in theory, sure. you'd think going 13-3 while making it to the nfc title game would be pretty sweet, but the reality is that i had to sit through an entire season of being told by media on a weekly basis how much the falcons suck and how bad they were going to get killed. every single week. it didn't matter how many teams they beat, there was another lurking around the corner that was gonna knock us off. first it was the broncos, then the chargers, then the eagles (because, you know, they were coming off a bye 8-| ), then the giants. it got old, especially after they won all those games. you had scrub ex-players like trent dilfer talking so much shit you would've thought matt ryan fucked his mom or something. going into both the seahawk game and the championship game, they were dismissed like they were going to lose by 40 points. that didn't happen with either. we scored great on both of their vaunted defenses. hell, if a couple of calls go our way (kaepernick gets a couple of fingers to the face, it's a drive-continueing penalty, but ryan gets drilled 2 steps after throwing a ball and we get nothing. i'm not sure what else navarro bowman needed to do to draw a flag on that roddy white play at the end), we could've and would've won. instead, the douchebag that benched a qb having a great year over a concussion gets rewarded and the franchise that was the 80's-early 90'
s version of the patriots gets to go back to the super bowl...again. great. wonderful. i hope everybody is happy now.
