it was opened in '91, but it's had a couple of facelifts. there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. people have been shaking their heads about this the entire way

You will hate the new place. They make them corporate friendly now if you know what I mean. Real fans get pushed to the nose bleeds. PSL and all that shit. I am yet to see a game in The Giants new place. Priced out.

its interesting that they're doing that because i just heard on the radio last week that the nfl is starting to have issues with attendance because of the high quality tvs out now and the amount of entertainment styled restaurants with the nfl package. seems like they'd want more people showing up and enjoying themselves, but we all know goodell can't see the forest for the trees

Yankee Stadium had like 7000 seats available for a playoff game this year which is UNHEARD OF in the market up here. Prices are crazy. Just to park your car is anywhere from 30-50 bucks. That's bullshit. Let me put it like this. In order for me to go to a Giants game with the family it will cost me upwards of 1400 dollars to watch them stand around for most of the games while commercials play for tv audience. I'll stay home. I would say the only game I would go to is next year if the Giants make The superbowl because it is being played at Metlife (hate that name) Stadium. I would pay whatever it cost to see that game. Would prob. be my only chance to see my team in a Superbowl.

unless I had plenty of money I wouldnt be able to afford going to an nfl game.. so my plan is to just go tailgating :-c which might end up costing money to but fuck it

Use to love tailgating for football games. We would cook some good food. See the steam ripping off the food..beer etc... all leading up to a live game. Shit was awesome but unfortunately I can't do that no more. I wanna have a good time..not go in debt over a game.

Maybe with a little luck we will be able to pick up B. Jacobs. I know that he is only suspended not cut BUT he is going to file a grievance with the league then maybe they will just release him.He has stated he wants to be a Giant. Maybe not the crushing force he once was but with Wilson in the backfield now they know we are running because WIlson can't block. With Jacobs back there it keeps em guessing which is one of the reasons we were sucessful in the past.

i don't even know why teams sign guys just to let them rot on the bench like that
  • Me_Me_ Posts: 13,701 salt miner
I hated seeing him go because he would "soften" up defenses for Bradshaw but let's be honest..he couldn't pick up 3 and 1 if his life depended on it. But he did catch some big balls out of the backfield and like I stated earlier he can block so we will see what happens.

Depth. But I think Jacobs had issues not being featured and that reflected in his work ethic. Waste of a signing either way.

He should of known what he was getting into when he agreed. Dude is def. a nut job when he doesn't start though him and Bradshaw worked pretty good together. On a different note..I was on that Jersey highway that day he was led by state police down the road at over 100 mph. Didn't actually see him personally but I did have my doors blown off by the cops follwed by about 20 sports cars. I was like wtf....

He should have known going in that the 49ers were the deepest team in the NFL at RB. Stupid decision if he was going to pout if he didn't start.
