It's been a frustrating season and I'm just ready for it to be over so changes can be made. We've become the northern edition of the Cowboys this year. All the talent in the world and nothing to show for it.
Just saying, before you want to bash our coach about being an embarrassment, check yourselves first. We had more competitive games against both the Niners and the Texans. Obviously the Bears are far better than the Lions right now, I'm not disputing that. But if you want to call Schwartz an embarrassment across the league for taking an 0-16 team to the playoffs in three years I'm just going to go /:).
If there is anyone to blame for the loss its Schwartz if he had not made that dumbass penalty lions win
Overly simplistic. While it's true if Schwartz doesn't make that mistake we probably win, there are a bunch of other plays that could have won the Lions the game if it went their way. Specifically:
-Hanson missing the field goal in overtime when he is usually automatic -The defense not being able to get the Texans off the field on the last drive in the fourth quarter -Pettigrew being a dumbass and fumbling the ball in overtime when we were in field goal range -Stafford getting sacked twice in the fourth quarter, taking us out of field goal range, then inexplicably throwing a deep ball into the endzone when a few more yards would have put us in field goal range a third time
Like I said before, it was a complete failure. Every aspect of the team fucked up at some point in the game. If one less mistake is made, the Lions win. That's why I'm so fed up.

But how many did we give up Jay? Bears > Lions. Chicago > Detroit.
