So on ESPN radio this morning they were talking about how the 5 teams in the NFC have really separated themselves already and there is really only a fight for one playoff spot. Rex got all angry at me for saying that, but at least I said the Lions would likely be in the mix in the fight for that last spot. Mike and Mike and Herm Edwards only mentioned Minnesota, Seattle, Dallas, and Philadelphia as fighting for that last spot.
They did bring up the AFC also doe, and it's really a mirror image of the NFC. 5 teams that would completely have to collapse to not get in the playoffs. (Houston, New England, Denver, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh), but who the hell will get that last spot? There is noone that seems worthy of it right now. Miami and Indy were brought up as the most likely to rise up and take it, but possibly get in at 8-8.
