This was whatever for Dallas tho. They’ll still win the division and prolly can win it wit a losing record at this point lmao. Even tho they’re basically a locked in first round exit. Meanwhile Bears fighting for their fucking lives and all 4 of these last 4 are must win or our season is over so Bears needed and wanted it more tonight, period. Still ain’t too confident bout the season. Need 3 in a row against the Packers, Chiefs, and Vikings, wit Packers and Vikings both being road games, and I jus don’t see this team being talented enough to pull it off.
This will however be one of the only times you’ll see me rooting for Detroit. It’s obviously smarter to tank at this point but if they can pull out a W for pride against the division against Minnesota on Sunday, that would be fantastic. Don’t see it happening tho.
Best we can end is 10-6. Vikings are 8-4. Us winning would include giving them their 5th L, then there’s 3 other opportunities for them to lose and get that 6th L against Detroit, Chargers, and Packers. Packers are taking the division either way and it’s a high chance that they win that game. Minnesota goes 10-6 like us and we win the tiebreaker cause we’d be 2-0 on the season. Boom we’re in that 6th slot for the wild card. They’ve had much worse/insurmountable odds but it’s the winning 3 in a row that I’m not confident in.
Sucks because as bad as our defense has played at times, we were in every game and could even have a reverse record with stafford.
Its a shame the d line hasn’t been healthy at any point this year. Im still not on the fire matty p bandwagon yet though. I think were heading in the right direction.
Getting robbed in the KC and GB games really fucked us doe.
Stafford was playing at a MVP level before he got hurt. The offense is functional even with a third-string QB. They've had the lead in every game this year. Is it worth wasting the last of Stafford's prime years to blow it up and spend another 2-3 years farting around trying to learn a new system? Who's this great coach that's available that will help us contend now? There are going to be a lot of open jobs and Detroit's never going to be anyone's first choice. I lean towards one more year for Patricia for those reasons. Plus they've had terrible injury luck on defense this year especially up front.
