I’m thinking the Rams might make the playoffs over the Vikings. Will be crazy to have 3 teams from one division in playoffs. And another division that doesn’t even deserve one spot, let alone a home game

Funny you say that when this same situation happened to the Seahawks in 2010 with that 7-9 record.
Im sure you weren't saying what you're saying today either and were like

iirc - I believe I said something like - “it ain’t right that the Seahawks make the playoffs with a losing record and get a home game.... but I’ll take it!” Go ahead and scroll back in time and post the page where I mentioned it. Like great for philly or cowboy fans but in all honesty it should be a requirement that you have winning record to make post season
I don't agree actually. You want to make the playoffs win your division. You want a home game win your division.
I get the argument but look at the NBA who redid the seeding. Divisions mean dick in the NBA, there are no division rivalries and the division games mean nothing.
I like the importance division games have in the NFL. Look at how many great rivalries we have and the great games we've gotten because of it. Hawks Niners, Raiders Broncos, Eagles Cowboys, Steelers Ravens, etc

The NBA also has a lot more games, enough that star players are sitting out regular season games while the NFL has only 16. So of course games are going to matter more in the NFL. The problem with the NBA is the lack of parity due to the concentration of star players on a handful of teams. The product isn't really suffering because they changed their seeding, it's a bit deeper than that. The best rivalries in the NBA and NHL show up in the playoffs anyway, it's not an apples to apples comparison to the NFL.

Need GB to win next week to have a shot at #1 spot. If Sea, GB, NO win out, then NO is playing wild card weekend. If GB doesn’t beat min then Seattle is looking at #2. Weird how tie breakers work
