I get that he has the starting streak and the giants sucking ass this year isn’t 100% his fault but why not see what your backup QB’s can do in game time situations when clearly the giants season is already done?

letting an old QB go in the off season is no big deal. Benching a guy whos a 2 time SB champ in the middle of the season is fucked up when there is nothing to benefit from and its not really his fault lol.

You think that if the Patriots were in the position the Giants are in right now Belichick wouldn’t bench Brady and see what the other QBs can do? Because I can almost guarantee he would (even if it is Tom Brady) if he thought that’s what’s best for the team.

Meh Eli has always been over rated he just had really good defenses to get him to the patriots and had some really lucky breaks their way.
The giants could have easily avoided all the issue if issue if they were like look we suck why risk hurting our aging qb
Overrated maybe...but the guy was clutch. He won a SB with absolutely 0 run game which is a big deal. Hes not a top 10 great but he is going to the hall.
Also I actually dont think Bill would ever bench Brady in the middle of the season even if he was playing terrible. They have too much respect for each other.
