Is it right? nah.  but its a business and a lot of owners don't want to deal with a PR headache.

I'd be willing to bet if he was producing better that would outweigh the negative political stance or any issues he may have to stop him from getting a job. The reality is though he hasn't been very good in three years and it's not worth the sideshow you would get with him whether you support it or not. Guarantee if dude has had a career like Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady teams would not give a fuck about his baggage. Greg Hardy vs Ray Rice is a good example. Ray Rice's numbers had been declining so it wasn't worth it for teams to take him on where Greg hardy was still producing.
