Guys have fumbling problems on the regular coming into the NFL. The dude is electric. For a team that I regularly forget exists, I think the Lions have something there.
Yeah I agree. He's had the ability to make cuts in the hole and finish going forward which I like a lot. To be honest we really have talent all over the field. We have play makers in the secondary and an all pro linebacker coming back healthy. There is reason to be excited for this year with Jim bob and Stanford working together. I just think a lot of us lions fans are planning for the worst and hoping for the best right now so our view point is pretty negative.
After week 6 Abdullah only lost one fumble and averaged over 4.5 yards a carry. I think he'll be fine, though he's still recovering from shoulder surgery. In theory the Lions have done plenty to address the offensive line, it's just a matter of how quickly it can all come together. Is Decker our left tackle or is Reiff? Either way right tackle shouldn't be a disaster like the past couple years. Can Warford stay healthy and get back to the level of play he was at his rookie year? Will Swanson improve enough to hang on to the center job or will Glasgow unseat him?
