This doesn't really float my boat, but I find it amusing.
So as you may know, I was a full-loser in high school. Well I saw this kid (and I see him at some shows sometimes) and I say hey to him. He waves his hand once, and proceeds to make a beeline in the opposite direction.
Like seriously? Grow the fuck up, man. This isn't high school anymore... I'm an actual person. At least have the decency to say hello and address me by name. Asshole.

Hopefully I can start working on my novel again. I'm going to make an outline this time.
i want to read!
my wife wrote a book. I was pretty impressed.... she is embarrassed and stopped writing after the one, but the book was pretty damn good and a billion times better then I could ever do. I think she hit her target demographic dead on, but was frustrated that it didnt become a NY Time best seller or some shit like that.

What type of genre is it?
Hmmm... I would guess Teens/Young Adult/Fantasy. Something like that. Her target age group was 10-13 year old girls. I was obviously not her target demographic when I read it, but I was able to appreciate the demographic she was going for.
It was funny... She did this book signing/speaking and there was this 13 year old girl who sat right in front, and was agreeing with everything she said about the character and the book. People would ask her a question and my wife would give a response, and then this girl would just speak up saying stuff like "yeah yeah... The cover was so representative of the main character. He was just so great and (etc)....". She even would email her monthly to find out how the second book was coming. it was funny.

"Municipal Waste drum wizard Dave Witte reached out to Noisecreep a few weeks ago and said he wanted to talk to us about a new project he was involved in that he was very excited about. Also featuring Dimitri Minakakis [ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan] on vocals, John Adubato [ex-Burnt by the Sun] on guitars, and Brett Bamberger [ex-The Postman Syndrome, currently in East of the Wall] on bass, the group are calling themselves Argonauts."
