So what is? The person that spends the most money wins? The facade of a two person race?
Yes as a matter of fact... IMHO. Both of those two issues you brought up are front runners of things that are wrong with our election process.
If I had to pick one, Id go with - How the media and government identifies two candidates as the "only two real choices" and then your only option is to either be a good little sheep and gravitate to one of the two predefined poles or marginalize yourself by throwing your vote away on someone that might actually make a difference.
You're vote means nothing. Its a scam to convince the American people that they're making a difference, and they have a say in politics.
You're vote doesnt matter. Ive never voted and never will.
You mean your gonna stay at home and be uninvolved in any positive change? I'm truly shocked.. Didn't see that coming at all
What change? Doesnt matter if I, or you, or anybody votes or not. The outcome will be the same regardless.
Do you even understand how voting works cuz this makes it seen like you dont
I understand how voting works. U.S. political voting is a facade. At the end of the day, its all up to an electoral vote. And then the politicians will still do whatever the fuck they want.
Politics is Alien vs Predator. Whoever wins, we lose.

Aka the media depends on a lazy lethargic mass of voters, as this convos proves true
Let me know how your stand against corruption goes in October 2016. Then let me know how well your vote turned out when we are still complaining about useless things and still in a war for oil.

I'd like to see election reform where instead of voting for who you want to be president, you get to rank the candidates you like. Then what they do is add up everyone's first place choice and the candidate with the fewest first place choices is eliminated. All ballots then have that candidate removed, and all lists are shifted up. For example if you had him as your #1, now your #2 choice is now your first choice. Then they keep repeating this process over and over again, removing one candidate each time, until finally one remains.
I feel with this system, people would be much less likely to vote for who they really want. For example say there are lots of people who think Rand Paul would be great, but they would much rather have Jebb than Hillery, well no biggie... Vote for Rand and if he doesnt have the support you think he does your vote will still count for Jebb (assuming that's how you ranked them).
This sort of election reform would be 1. simple 2. remove the feeling that your vote is being thrown away.
