So stoked on this sound recording/production class I'm taking this semester. The professor does so much cool shit. Does sound at a lot of the major shows in the area. Last night he did the NIN/Soundgarden show in Mountain View.
just noticed this spam. not sure how you can spam it, erik. considering maynard is a human being and does amazing things while one of your beloved "artists" hits the enter button.
LMAOOO I really ain't gonna carry this on wit you if you think that EDM is simply "hitting the enter button". )
And I ain't having a convo with you if you think a piece of technology is better than a guy going up on stage and belting out note after note and make it sound exactly like the album. But you are right a computer is a great show.

can you attempt to inform me of what exactly EDM artists do live besides that? I understand that making the music requires skill full well, and there's definitely a lot of effort put into the production of the live show like the lights, stage set up, and creating a mix that flows well and all that shit, but I've seen way too many videos of some of the world's largest EDM artists; like Steve Aiko, David Guetta, Tiesto; where niggas are just standing there, bumping their fists, and they turn knobs on the mixers and it doesn't even change shit. Or like they place their fingers on a knob and jump up and down to pump up the crowd but they're not even fucking with the knob. I understand it's a different kind of live show than what most people on this forum go to, and there's a different appeal to it, but I'm not yet fully convinced that there's much of a performance aspect to it, besides telling the crowd to jump the fuck up.
