Will Ferrell is one of those dudes that a lot of his headlining stuff goes a little overboard. He needs someone else to reign him in a little. That's why his sidekick/bad guy roles are the best. Frank the Tank and Mugatu are his best roles IMO

To me, Will has pretty much run the same course as a lot of other comedians that do a few movies... Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler etc. Their shit is funny at first, but it is pretty much the same basic role or style over and over again and it gets old rather quick.
