Map's fucking huge. For comparison, I can drive all the way across Saints Row IV's map in 5 minutes. In GTAV, one HIGHWAY takes 5, and it's maybe a QUARTER of the map. Bigger would have been too big, especially without any fast travel points, which I still think is bullshit.
The map may not be as big as anticipated but it feels more like a real city than any game I've ever played. One of the first things i noticed when i started playing was how real the roads felt. Turn lanes, cloverleafs, etc.
I completely agree...they look real to...I wasn't disappointed with the size...I just assumed it would feel larger because of the hype they gave it...in reality it's probably perfect....could you imagine the things they will be able to do with gtav and future titles in the future on next gen...
Can't believe these motherfuckers still ain't learned what fucking fast travel is. Especially considering how big the damn map is.
That's gta dog...I doubt .they will ever fast travel...personally I like it...games with fast travel I get lazy and do it all the time...and you really miss out on the details if you do that

Nah dawg it's not even that. For instance, and I know it's a bit different 'cause you're limited to foot and horseback, but on Assassin's Creed 3, I at first explored the world on foot to see everything, do everything, etc., but after that, when I just wanted to do the missions, I fast traveled a lot. It'd be the same in GTAV, I'd make sure that at first, I saw everything the game has to offer and didn't miss out, but after a while, having to drive for 5-10 minutes to get to every mission just gets to be a grind.

Don't me =;
I don't have any complaints...they just said it was 5 times bigger then red dead..so I expected it to feel bigger...regardless game is perfect 0
Also, y'all prolly wouldn't notice it, but obviously the only stations I play are Radio Los Santos and FlyLo, and I love how west coast the Hip Hop is. RLS alone is almost exclusively west coast, and they showed a bunch of love to TDE, which is easily the hottest thing popping out the west coast right now. Really makes it feel like a local Cali radio station.
/:) nigga if anything they will probably recreat vice city....I'm of the opinion that las ventures and San fierro are gonna be dlc added for gta online....and based on interviews they want to recreate all the city's they have done previously to bring together gta online
Also I'm with Rex. Any other game fast travel is fine. But GTA...idk its just different. I never get bored driving to a mission. There's just so much to look at.
