I don't understand that Rex. If you like racing, sport, or rpg games than those are all the same way. No genre really pushes the envelope on what can be done.
I do think black ops with the new currency system and wager matches among other things has a shot at changing the way multiplayer is done from now on however we will have to wait 2 weeks and 3 hours and 45 minutes to find out

cod mw was the last first person i played...great game and pushed the envelope....and with sports games...well i love sports so its natural i love the games
All I'm saying if you shouldn't single out one genre for not being different or exciting especially if sports games are your main focus hardly anything changes from game to game
