I tend to collect as well so I don't have interest in the emulators or modding with that said though I like the idea I saw some mention. Buy two keep one in perfect shape as a collectors item and mod the other. Plus if you decide to sell one down the road it's going to get your money back and maybe extra where emulators won't
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
If youre gonna take the time to mod it, just buy a Pi, load it up with RetroPi, and put it in a SNES shell.
Nintendo official Snes Mini Shell and Controller >>>> third party shells and controllers. In terms of feel, weight, and responsiveness. The controller is a damn near perfect replica

When you mod the NES or SNES classics it creates a backup file of the original system so you can revert it back to the original games and undo the mods at any time

SNES to USB jack lets you use a SNES on the Pi. Or you could use literally any USB controller, so no need for a third party

Just played through the Shantae: Pirate Queen's Quest expansion for Half-Genie Hero. Was ok. Was obviously fun, but they didnt add enough for it to have stuck out on its own. Lot of lewd shots of Risky though.
EA's official statement sounded something along the lines of the fact that they couldn't figure out how to put microtransactions into a single player game

Rumors are they are taking the assets already developed and using them to make a Star Wars version of Destiny/Anthem
