I'd bother contesting that if they didn't have a different definition of metal than I do. A lot of BTBAM is not conforming to that definition. I don't know why Rush is on there at all though.

On their rules it states that Prog won't be allowed unless it is deemed metal enough, Rush on the other hand is with Motley Crue in that they have had both enough of an influence on todays metal and a debatable heaviness and is on the site mostly as a guideline as to what reall isn't allowed.
