I love Geddy's vocals, even on the early albums.

Rush's early albums are better than their new ones...

2112 and Hemispheres are their masterpieces....no disputing that.

That being said, I love Snakes and Arrows and the two new songs they released from the next one.....I have high hopes for that album.

Every album theyve released is a masterpiece...but 2112, Hemispheres and Fly by night are thier greatest IMO

id add Moving Pictures to that list, but its over played..mainly Tom Sawyer and Limelight though...

Witch hunt, The Camera Eye and even Red Barchetta....three great fucking songs...



La Villa Strangiato and 2112 are their best two songs...IMO

I just don't like his voice. The music is good, they're all talented for sure...I just can't force myself to listen to his voice for long periods at a time.

Well I started off by posting that Family Guy clip of Chester the Cheetah because he talks about Rush and Neil Peart, and there has been a lot of talk of BOTH on the forum lately, and I thought it would be funny to post it, and then it kinda turned into a Rush debate thread.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again (since I'll take credit for bringing the hate to the mainstream)

I respect what Rush has done completely as musicians, but I cannot get into their music at all. Same goes for Zeppelin.
