There were mandatory evacuations in NC yesterday and today. Gonna get ugly. They haven't seen one this bad since Hugo.

what concerns me is that this is the same exact forecast Hurricane Bob got in 1991. It ended up making Landfall in Newport, RI as a category 3. Forecasts were way off

Could get ugly then, ut we'll see what happens, i still dont think it'll amount to too much, at least not around me since i live about 40 miles off of the coast.

idk....i was in Florida when bob hit. i went on leave and saw the desctruction afterwards. i was in Florida for Hurricane Andrew....

i think the perfect storm hit off the coast of mass in 1991 so i was just wondering. earle wont be a big deal, just storms by the time it hits mass....

I was in the Carolinas for Hugo........fucking scary shit to see a mailbox pierce the side of a brick building, huge trees uprooted, etc.

I'm heading to south Carolina for 10 days in the morning hopefully we will get good weather and another storm in the Atlantic to brew up some larger than average waves.
