Cody Johnson was running like he was scared after the 1st quarter. Newton came in and showed he was the better back!! Yes eventually Gilbert will be passing more, but I never said he wasn't going too. I just said that he was throwing horribly yesterday and didn't look like a "good" QB.
On a side note. My friend Kenny Vaccaro was getting tackles like crazy and may even be able to take over starting safety spot <_>

Marcus it was a scrimmage game son. Did you not see that most of the plays Gilbert threw were long throwing plays. They didn't open they play book for him cause they didn't care. It's Rice a 2-10 team. They just wanted to get their running game going to start the new offense of run-pass balance. Something we haven't seen TX do in a long time. I bet my left nut Gilbert will be beast next week
I will be there watching next week in person Marc. We will see how beast he is and if he isn't I'm coming down to SA to make sure you get that left nut removed haha.
