Our local record store almost never orders any form of metal because they think they won't sell much of it, I have bought all 3 metal records they've ordered this year <_>
Record Breakers, the local record store above Reggie's in Chicago, has some ridiculously awesome and rare/obscure/underground shit.
Unfortunately, I didn't buy much from them because it's almost impossible to get a CD for less than $15. I got a way better deal at FYE, and I thought it was ridiculous as well that I got such good shit at FYE.
Not only did I get the TBDM vinyl, but I got Rammstein's last one for $8 and Dying Fetus's new one brand new for $10.
My vinyl collection's gotten really awesome over the past few months. My buddy told me about discogs.com last weekend and I plan on buying a bunch of vinyl's from there after Christmas.
Discogs is fucking amazing. The app is pretty cool too. You can create a wishlist and they'll email you when copies of that record get put up for sale. You can scan barcodes of records and compare prices with their online store. I'd check it out.
