Yeah, I've noticed that rap albums can get pretty long.

Not really, they're generally pretty short. They just have a lot more songs than Metal albums in most cases.

Most real rappers make longer albums. Most of tech's album are a hour plus.
the new one is going to be about 78 min long plus it has a bonus cd.

I forget who it was, but I was looking at some rapper's wiki page some time ago, and all his albums where at least 70 minutes long.
