thats cause Portnoy knows how to blast. I don't buy for a second that Portnoy just came in the studio, learned the parts and played them as written. I wouldn't be shocked if he added bits here and there
The song titles are even shitty. It's like they threw it together fast and tried to make it sound "heavy as fuck". On most the songs the vocals aren't even good. I won't burden my comp with this shitty album.
Buried Alive needs a better vocalist as well. Wouldn't have been as bad if the vocals weren't fucking horrible. I hate FFDP but I think their lead singer would have done a better job vocally on that track and that saying something
