To mainstream audiences, maybe. But even the types who are mostly into bands like A7X or 5FDP will still likely get turned into bands like Gojira or Mastodon through in them. But even still, metal isn't for everyone. Warped tour not being a thing isn't going to make metal more or less of anything.
