@slap I think if it's grunty worthwhile stuff then it's fine to keep in....but if it's just unneccessary padding then take it out

Business type folks: is a two page resume ever okay? My aunt works on this kind of stuff and insists I should put all my work experience on my resume, but when two of those jobs are summers jobs I had between semesters and a lot of it is kind of the same shit, I'm thinking I should just take that shit out and have a one page resume
Keep it to one page, but a second page of references is ok.

With resumes you really should be tailoring your resume towards each position you are applying for. Just small adjustments for example to your about you section that maybe show off some of the skills or your willingness to learn the skills required for that position.

As far as lenth. I would say that really depends on wht youre applying for.  I personally dont list every job iv ever had on my resume. the two biggest things here are just making sure there isnt a large gap in your work history, as well as listing all of your skills from each of these jobs.

I wouldnt think a longer resume would hurt, but the key is to grab someones attention fast. Why do you stand out  from everyone else applying for this position. IMO that will come more from presentation of yor resume rather than the length of it.

as long as you can show you have had stable work history one page should be fine.

What's this mystery reason that 'nobody' like George Thorogood?

    Is he racist?
    Is he anti-gun?
    Is he anti-weed?
    Is he Muslim?
    Is he gay?

lol.  Not liking someone cuz they are old is a dumb statement to make.
Unless you also hate all music pre 2000's.
no it's because his music is AIDS

    2 things:
    1) I'm not mexican
    2) I don't need a thesis-driven essay to explain why I don't enjoy his particular craprock
