Kickass has been my nigga since it came out. It wasn't the big name like btjunkie, demonoid or piratebay. then they all go down and yahoo puts kickasstorrents on their front page. Awesome
I almost downloaded Horrible Bosses 2 from kickasstorrents the other day and the only thing that held me back was that the Internet (time Warner) is under my girlfriends name. I just wanted to avoid anything like what happened with you haha.

Since 2010, I have downloaded easily over 1000 TV shows and movies, not even including music off kickass. alot of shows i download individually to get them in the best quality as soon as possible. Game of Thrones especially which I would have figured would be the first thing to trigger it since hbo I know has been more known to flip shit. This is my first email in the almost 5 years though, really caught me off guard. From what I've heard they warn you 2/3 times and then they kill your internet speed. And yeah I've only ever heard it with pay TV networks catching people. Movie studios probably figure fuck it...unless a high quality prescreener leaks. Then they get butt hurt.
From what I understood in the email, time warner doesn't give two fucks what you do. The networks themselves will track torrents and contact them. So I'm assuming everybody that downloaded that file got a "hey, fucking stop" notice. I've downloaded over 50 episodes of Shameless, how the hell they just got all bitchy about this idk.
I used to do it all the time till about 2 or 3 years ago. I used to download huge 1080p blu ray rips varying anywhere from 4gb to about 8gb in size. Ive looked into getting a VPN and it just seems like such a hassle. My main thing now since I've heard they have been cracking down a lot more is I myself nor anyone in my family to get in trouble/sued.
I get that your ISP gives you so many warnings before anything happens. I just don't want to even be on the radar.

I like having a huge collection though. I have an external hard drive that I can plug into my tv and just scroll through with my remote.
I can still share what I did today, but it sucks.
So ready to throw in the towel with this whole audio thing.
Then I'll remix it and release a better version later this week.
