I've owned both, and liked both for different reasons. Overall there isnt much different between the two. Android phones are more powerful and get newer features first, where Apple phones have a better software echo-system. I chose Apple phones over android because 1. I like gamecenter and it's integration and 2. I dont really need a bleeding fast phone for any apps im running. The processors running in the Apple products are good enough.

I've had both and I prefer Android cuz I can download music straight to my phone with Utorrent.
I believe March/April. Technically "my" upgrade isn't until September because I had to get fucked up and lose my iPhone 5 in New Orleans. But everybody is swapping upgrades so I get the next one up.
