I do it a ton. It fucking rules.
None of my friends are particularly educated in concert etiquette, etc. So I'm naturally concerned about them getting their asses kicked if they go with me to a show if I go up front where I like to be. I've met some cool people though who I now only see at shows, so I never feel alone...
I've gone alone only a couple times, only doing it for bands I feel like I have to see. It kinda sucks but I don't regret it.
I go to almost all my shows alone. It doesn't bother me at all. I don't feel awkward at all standing alone and when the bands come on, I just have so much fun watching them that I don't care that I'm alone. The only boring part is between sets when there's no one to talk to. Having said this, I'm going to BG in two days with a friend Plus, I like getting to shows early and getting on the rail. If I don't get there early, lately I've managed to get on the rail so it would be hard to get on the rail, leaving my friend behind if he couldn't get there. I'd just feel kinda bad if he couldn't get on the rail and I could

People always end up talking to me. It might just be my good looks.

I don't drink at or before shows because I have to drive, but I didn't think of that. That is a bit weird.
