They were my first pit. Was minorly into them back in 8th/9th grade. Wouldn't see them now. Wouldn't jam to their albums now.

I wouldn't doubt that Whitechapel eventually progress towards death metal, Phil Bozeman is very similar to Travis Ryan's vocal style.

If they haven't yet, I don't think they are gonna. They'll probably end up more like modern Carnifex than modern JFAC anyways if they did.

As Blood Runs Black has always been my "favorite" deathcore band. I'm down with some JFAC, but their most recent more death metally stuff. I don't really dig Doom.
