Its relevant to what wine said though. People like football better it is just the way it is but hockey is the tougher sport of the two plus they allow people to man up and fight. Shit don't fly in the nfl.
I'm not even choosing between football or Hockey, I was just pointing out the flaws in Wines stat. It's not as simple as what his statistic says.
It's actually not as simple as what my stats say either, considering there is also a good deal of high force collisions in football such as blocks, that this doesn't include.
However , the point was to just point out that the stat that he posted was excluding many variables that should be also factored in.
The point wasn't really to be a wide-reaching statement on sports, it just was more to say that many of those collisions that are apparently only 83% the force of a hockey hit happen more frequently throughout a football game than a hockey game. Personally, I think you're using statistic manipulation, though, because no game has 90 players playing in it, and the point isn't really how many hits happen per player, they're how often they happen. If all 44 of those hits were on one unfortunate guy, it wouldn't change my argument at all. Same is true with all 134 of those tackles, which I'm sure at least 100 happened on RB's and WR's. Really had no statement on whether one was better or not, because that's just a matter of taste.
Bought some unsweetened tea today cause I'm trying to find something I like without sugar and all the BS and also be able to buy it in a large bottle...well it's not very good but I think if I make myself drink it I can grow to like it [-O<
I know that feel bro. Just have the best time possible. That's what your friend wants. Not some mope-session, just have a blast.
I know because he's really excited. I know he's been waiting for this for quite some time. I'm really happy for him and it'll great to see him one last time before he goes

hockey fights are usually pretty lame though. they just grab each others arms and try to land a punch. i think football is the tougher sport. there's a reason why they only play 16 games and only one a week. there's way more contact in football then there is in hockey.
