I feel bad. I won't even look at the mouse she has to eat at the store. The mouse did hurt her though because she moved it to the corner of the tank after she spit it out. It had a really long tooth that pierced her. Gonna wait till tmw to try to feed her again.

And this is why you feed frozen. Don't feed live, there's literally no positives in doing so. There's no such thing as a snake that won't eat frozen. It may take longer with some, but all snakes will eventually take frozen. Try dipping it in chicken broth, or even brain it if you have to, which is cutting a small slit into the head to expose the brain and blood.

i was trying to feed her frozen but she kept ignoring it, i even microwaved the thing to heat it up but she still slithered right past it
Microwaving is terrible, it melts their organs and can make them blow up in the microwave. You're 'sposed to thaw it out in warm water, or leave it out in a bowl overnight.

Hmmm leave a frozen mouse in a warm bowl of water overnight w/ 3 cats............
Cover it, either way, quit feeding live, not good at all.
she won't eat it any other way. we tried frozen repeatedly and did everything the snake guy told us to do. plus, in the wild they eat live and she was WILD caught by the museum.
And wild snakes don't live even half as long as captive ones for that reason.
Shane, that's better, pre-kill it by putting it in a pillow case and slamming it as hard as you can against a hard surface, it will also help with getting the snake to eventually accept frozen.

Our old snake used to take "stunned" mice, they ahd to be breathing/ heart beat. My brother in law would take the mouse and slam it against the tank so it couldn't fight back. Me being the animal love I am, have to either have Shane feed her or someone else. I can watch her to make sure she's not getting hurt but can't do it myself.
