I am a good sport... and I will cheer on the other teams when they make good plays. Above all I like to watch a good game of baseball regardless of who wins. Still it would be nice to win ONE FUCKING GAME. that's all I want. but nooooooooo.... the coach has to put in his chump kid. X(

I normally tell the kids "don't worry bout it. we'll get 'em next time" if they strike out or drop a ball or something like that. With this kids pitching I stopped saying anything at all. I just kinda close my eyes and shut up. Probably afraid my disapproval of him will be obvious.

As long as you're not that asshole who embarrasses the fuck out of their kids, and makes them cry every game then you're okay in my book.
nah... i don't do that. I usually encourage my son afterwards. Pick out one or two things I liked about his game. The only thing he does that drives me crazy is not swinging. Sometimes he will just go up there and not swing at a single pitch. I just tell him afterwards if he does that "Son... you don't have any chance of getting a hit if you dont swing. wait for your pitch and let them have it. you'll get it next time. Even if you strike out swinging, at least you tried."
boys are competitive; its wired into our DNA..... i dunno how old your kid is wake; but back when i used to play 6 - 9-ish i hated losing and loved winning.
Not that i was huge on baseball or anything.... i can barely stand to watch it these days (or play it).
but on the other hand.... whether he's good or not (your kid).... any sort of negativity he gets from others towards his game will just push him away from wanting to play.

My son is 9 and playing in a 9-10 league (so there are kids playing that are 11). He missed the age cutoff by like 9 days. And yeah... they want to win, you can see it. Some boys take it harder then others.
He's not the worst player.... not the best either. He just kinda fits in. Luckily he doesnt pitch, or he would probably be like the son's coach. I think most of the kids hate that kid since he single handily losses them more games then not.
When I was in football, my team was a bunch of pussies. A bunch of them would cry like LeBron when we lost. And my coach would rage like it was the NFL. Called us failures one time lolz.
