My only advise would be to put college before the GF. That may sound cruel, but unless she's really something special (which is rare at young ages), college is more important. You'll probably have an awesome time at Arizona, which is an excellent school, and there'll be plenty of time for relationships there...
Relationships just aren't worth the heartache.
I agree absolutely. Why do I get this feeling that this post could quickly reflame the debate about Moral Altruism verses Objectivism :-))
Seriously though... It really is in ones best interest to make school their highest priority. Although you dont need school to be successful, school frankly opens doors that otherwise would not be open. If a relationship is going to stand the test of time, then it should be able to take being back burnered for college. I understand that most don't, but that should change priorities.

I should have gone to college... :-<
No. You still *should* go to college. If you feel you don't have any direction on what direction you want to go, then you should take baby steps. Forget Universities, and focus on an AA/AS degree from a community college in general studies. That will likely transfer to a university and cover most of the first two years there. The good thing about a general study AA/AS degree is that it gives you time to figure out where you want to go without breaking your bank. Enroll in community college for next year. DO IT.
