I guess she's not "super religious" by their terms then.
I was roommates with a 'Muslim' in college. I would occasionally catch him reading the Quran, however that was about the extent of his religion. He would 100% say that he was a Muslim, and that he believed in Allah. Weekly I went out drinking with him, and 25% of the time while drunk he would order a bacon cheese burger because as he would say "Bacon is too fucking good to say no".
So what's my point - Islam is like other religions. You have people who half follow the shit, and marginally tune into the teachings. Granted there are a large percentage of them that are very devout and would not do such a thing.... However just because someone is Muslim, doesn't mean they are super hardcore.
My roommate was honestly my best friend in college. He was awesome. He could pound a mad dogg 40 in literally the time it took to empty out of the bottle. He'd turn it completely upside down with the bottle out of his mouth a little and literally drink every last drop as fast as it would pour out. It's was impressive.
Enlighten me man. I'm interested. I don't know much about Islam. Grew up atheist, so it's all mostly a mystery to me
Did you actually grow up atheist? Or did you mean more agnostic?
I personally feel that I am more agnostic then atheist. I view it as this- Atheist passionately believe there is no God almost like a religion, where Agnostic person doesn't believe in god and doesnt even care to entertain a conversation about it because it has no evidence for it. Agnostic claims neither belief in God nor disbelief in god, because there is no factual basis for either.

Atheist. My mom is kinda into Sci-Fi new agey stuff, but that's it. I didn't go to church unless it was with a friend or cousin or something. My parents always taught us that religion was a bunch of garbage
Trying to drink beer and watch fight club but it has by far the worst volume problems in any movie I've watched. Like I can barely hear them talk but then the action scenes are the loudest thing ever.
Every time I watch this movie, I imagine being a stoner in 1999 going to the movies and deciding to watch fight club. The high probably wore off during the shitting getting crae but it was probably still a good time
I've always thought first half if fight club was an amazing movie and the second half was pretty fucking dumb. I wish they just stuck to the original purpose of the movie and not all the anarchy crap. Even if they just made two desperate movies with the same stuff it'd be cool but I just think the transition is pretty dumb

I've never ever cared enough about religion to put a label on myself
