And besides that they don't give a fuck about tattoos. Never got fired for the eye on my hand, which is just as exposed. Plus there's a bitch currently working there wit a neck tattoo. Granted it's not as big and it's just stars going up the side of her neck to her ear, but still.
And I know Jake's right. I don't for a second regret any of my ink but it's gonna make it an even bigger mission to get hired and the thought of being jobless for 2, 3, 4, however many months is fucking terrifying me right now. I need to find some factory jobs or physical labor. Neither of which I would mind doing and would pay miles better than DD. I wanna work for a moving company but you need to be able to drive. :-<
Yeah they don't give a shit about that there...essentially your job is to show up
Yeah I guess. Now that I think about it, I see a lot of neck tats at fast food restaurants. When I was 16, that shit didn't fly. Now most places probably don't care

As they shouldn't. I think tattoo discrimination is complete bullshit unless it's obvious shit like gang tattoos, profanity, even gory tattoos I can understand. I seen a dude who got a bloody ass gash tatted on his neck and I was literally like :-|

use that as motivation to get your license. As somebody who didn't get their license 'til fairly recently, 3 months ago in fact, not having a license is the lamest shit. I can't imagine not being able to drive myself places now. Your life becomes like 100x better when you get a license. Get on that shit now.

I think it's weird how common it is for people to not get a dl Until past 18. I got my license on my 16th birthday and I didn't know a single person in hs who was any different.
and no one had cell phones either but now my 7 year old is asking for one
Boss is a piece of shit and I got tired of his games. The final straw was when he, after being on it full time for 9 months, randomly decided to switch me from 3rd shift to starting at 5 am on 1st. When I asked why he did so, he told me that we weren't gonna be 24 hours anymore and that the donuts were gonna be delivered to the store instead of made fresh so there was no need for both the baker and me overnight, and the baker's been there 2 years and has been 3rd shift from the go. So as much as that sucked, I accepted it because I understand seniority in the work place. Come to find out that he straight up lied to me and we're still 24 hours, only truth was that the donuts are in fact shipped now so there's only 1 person needed overnight, and that seniority still stands. I understand that. But then when I confronted him bout his bullshit, he changed his story and said he put me on 1st because this other bitch quit and he temporarily needed people on 1st til he hired someone else. Only problem there is that he put up the schedule that had me on 1st 4 days before she quit. So again I called his bluff and then he tried to flip it on me talmbout "It's punishment for you shutting off the lights in the drive thru." Which I only did 1 time, 3 months prior, because it was a Saturday night, the busiest night, and it was 1 am when I was already running behind, and I was still getting nonstop fucking customers. You're gonna "punish me" 3 months later? Right. The whole situation reeked of bullshit and I wanted to do him before he had the chance to do me. Fuck a lying ass boss.

If you had to dress up formally with a collar and tie it might nearly cover the neck tatt anyway?
If jobs don't want you anymore, but don't want to fire you, they'll just make it uncomfortable for you until you quit. My sister filed for discrimination against a guy she worked with at enterprise rent a car and they started changing her hours and locations until she just said fuck it and left
Most factory jobs or mill jobs don't give a shit about tattoos as long as you can show up and get the shit done. Good luck finding another job. Not saying this to be an ass and I'm not being sarcastic, but be prepared for it. Factory work is a lot tougher than selling donuts. Not trying to short change your work, but it is true. Just don't get discouraged and quit if you land a factory job. Took me a few weeks to get used to that shit after just parking cars before that.
Also the supervisor I worked with on Sundays all of last year is transferring because of how shitty it has been the past few weeks at Mount Ida. They hired this new chick as a supervisor that I've been doing Fridays with and she might bail too.
I don't know how much longer I can do this. I don't need the money THAT bad.

edit: My bad thought you were calling me a liar again lmao.
I'm not being an ass, but whatever. Good luck finding your next job.
