Recording equipment is expensive.. You better off prolly trying to save up for a little studio time.. Or try and make some connects with music type people who have equipment
Listening I can tell the songwriting is there but it seems a little undeveloped. Vocals don't sound great and the drums are really lacking, which is unfortunately a problem a lot of locals have. Keep working at it though, getting anything recorded is an accomplishment regardless of others opinions.
TUPAC IS DEAD/THE LEGEND IS GONE/THEY SAYIN TUPAC'S BACK?/DEM NIGGAS WRONG
So, I know I said that the EP would be available this past weekend, but we've run into some trouble getting the album art. The recording is all complete, but we don't have the art to go with it :-w And I haven't been able to get a hold of the guy we asked to work on it.
That would be cool, but wait until I get back to you tomorrow.
I'm going to call this guy again tomorrow just to see where he stands, but we were thinking we'd ask some of our other artistic friends to come up with something as well. A: so we could possibly look through and decide which one we liked best, and B: so that we have something to put on physical CD copies.
Depending on what he says, or if I can't even get a hold of him, I'm going to let my bandmates know what the deal is, and then I may turn to you from there!
If you want to start conceptualizing, the EP is called "Thousand Souls". What we were thinking for the cover is like a forest scene looking down a path in the middle of the forest with a vortex of souls in the path. The song "Thousand Souls" has to do with wanderers walking through a forest, coming across these restless souls, and going out on a quest to kill their murderers.

The recording quality is fine for a demo.

Only time it really matters is if you take a famous riff. Like Crazy Train and etc
