Uploading pics now. Got to the venue around 4 and got the US event shirt and the Eddie up close one in red, the one without the dates on the back. Met up with Chew and waited in line for awhile. He told me some guy came over from England to see Maiden, the guy had 2 Transformers tattoos and 2 Maiden tattoos, maybe more, one was the Benjamin Breeg artwork. Finally we got in the venue and everyone sprinted for the pit since there was no First to the Barrier. I just strolled down the lawn and somehow managed to see Chew sprinting down the steps and into his spot. Looked like he was only 1-2 people behind the rail.
Dream Theater was good. Put on a great set. It started to rain right as they came on which was actually very cool. Made the PA intro interesting. The rain started pouring in through my side so everyone started moving down so they wouldn't get soaked. I jumped up a few rows and took a random seat. I like them but I definitely need to check out more of their material 8/10.
About 15 minutes till Maiden came on, the pit was already full and the seats were almost all full so I decided to go back to my seat which actually wasn't bad like I thought. I could see almost all of the stage and I wasn't that far back, a lot closer than I thought. The artwork in the back was cut off and I couldn't see Nicko but I still loved the seat. I'm not going to just repeat everything everyone has said but I will say this, The Wickerman was a perfect choice as an opener and I loved Ghost of the Navigator. That song and Wildest Dreams were stuck in my head the whole night. The only thing that put a little bit of a damper on the show was the crowd. The people in the seats had absolutely no energy except for parts in Wrathchild, Blood Brothers chorus, and The Number of the Beast. From my view the pit was usually into the songs but they became dead every once in awhile, besides the people right up front. I was into every song so I didn't care too much about the crowd. This was the best show I have ever been to. Besides the crowd not being into the songs, Maiden put on a great show, Bruce's jumps were amazing and all the instruments and singing were right on key. Dance of Death was amazing live and I loved the background they had up for that. I'm praying and hoping I get to see Maiden again someday because I doubt any band will be able to top Maiden's performances ever. Now I truly understand why they are the greatest band in the world. Fuck it 11/10
Favorite pic and moment of the night, from my view it was like Bruce was sort of in the album cover like he's in the new world and singing "A Brave New World", it was just awesome:
This is my view with no zoom. That's what the pit looked like about 10-15 minutes after I got to my seat. That entire area was completely packed awhile before Maiden came on.
Yes I resized the pics but only some are working. Hopefully they'll all work later like the first one I posted earlier

For the dog people:
I'm hoping my Maiden total goes up to 2 next year, regardless of whether you make yours 3 or not. >_>
