His parents don't take part of his paycheck for savings either.
I may be using that savings for a car though. My dad is cool with it being used on a car because the money was intended for college (whatever I need in college) but a car is a college expense and my mom doesn't think so. We'll see. It would help tremendously though because I would have about $1500-$2,000 in savings by the end of summer
