If I ever make enough money in my band to do this, I want to open up centers around the US that have a bunch of rooms in themfor bands to practice. I would have another company manage it but it would be non profit
my reasoning for this is because my band has had a hard time actually practicing which I know is a problem for others as well. If someone had opened up one of these centers then my ban would actually have a good place to practice
I know it's been done, but for the last few years I've wanted to open my own burger place that's like all metal. It would have awesome music on the stereo, and live bands could come and play on Fridays.

when i went to spain; my cousin (who lived over there) took us to one of these places... it was basically a big building that had nothing but rehearsal rooms.
Each room had a drum kit, speakers, and a small mixer... it was a great setup.
My goal is to move to Europe and start up my own small scale metal magazine. I'd be the editor, publisher, and one of the interviewers. I'd have a small, dedicated staff that can write amazing articles and don't mind deadlines and going to shows for a living.
Help would be welcome once I get to that point. I've already got my foot in the door with the interview part. Being an English major will help with the editing and I'm still deciding if I want to double major and take up Journalism, which might be smart.

I'd much rather play music for a living but producing/recording seems a lot more possible to be successful in.
