I mostly watch the premiere league...I won't claim to root for anyone team die hard like ed. I mostly watch cause I love the game. But I started rooting for Manchester city in the early 2000's cause it had been so long since they had won. Was awesome to see them win 2 of the last three years.
I watch some by dealings when I can find good streams...finding soccer on tv in America is poverty
Idk what kind of cable package you have but BeIn Sport carries a lot of the Euro leagues and FoxSports is gonna start carrying Bundesliga starting in 2015.
Its 10 bucks a month and its streams La Liga, Ligue 1, and Serie A (Italy) games. It also shows random stuff like the US World Cup qualifying games that they never show on ESPN and the Coppa America tournament. You can watch it on your phone too or streaming devices like Roku or Slingbox.
ah that cool...I wish Michigan had a mls team I would go to some games...fuck rooting for Chicago
Detroit has an NASL team that has a pretty big following. Detroit City FC. The talent drop off from the MLS to the NASL and USL isn't as much as you'd expect. Plus they end up facing a couple MLS teams in the US Open Cup every year. Plus you can watch them beat up San Antonio's team \m/
The MLS is planning on adding 3 more teams in the next few years and a lot of people think this team could be one of them. Check em out.
If you go, definitely get in contact with their supporters group. Tickets are usually discounted, and you get to sit with all the rowdy fans singing, playing drums and lighting off flairs and shit. Plus they usually all tailgate before the game.
I went to a Rapids game with their SG last year and they told me 5 bucks for as much beer and food as you want at the tailgate. I figured they got hot dogs and a keg of pisswater. Motherfuckers had cases of craft beer and the head guy was cooking ribs and corn on the cob and shit \m/ The supporters section for the Rapids is literally right behind the goal so we got to antagonize the opposing goalie for half the match ) Plus the players always come by and say whats up to that section after the game. I'm thinking about getting season tickets :-?

If you like the Premier League you should follow Bundesliga in Germany and Ligue 1 in France. They actually play good defense unlike La Liga.

I follow Arsenal in the Premier simply because the dude who owns the Rapids, Avs, and Nuggets owns them.
