MDF 2013 was one of the greatest lineups ever assembled. They could've easily took that momentum and tried to land someone big the next year. I know a lot of people figured after having Down and Exodus on that one would lead to something like that, but it never really happened. The biggest acts on 2014 were prolly At the Gates and Crowbar. They've managed to exist on a certain level of relevance that I'd imagine the promoters are comfortable with

dont think I wanna leave this mile radius area for a while. seen so many great shows at that bar, most of them free, including earth, kylesa, deafheaven, daughters/the body, torche, a storm of light, samothrace, sutekh hexen, spectral voice, cobalt, earthless, conan, bosse-de-nage, destroyer of light, mothership, early graves, blood incantation, acid witch, the atlas moth, junius, and spirit adrift. no better place in town imo.
Its downtown Baltimore, the sex trafficking capital of the country. If you get an airbnb downtown, be prepared for sketchier shut than you're used too lol. Hitels are gonna run you, though.
